Erin Vingiello

Originally from East Tennessee, Erin (she/her) has called Portland home for over ten years and is thrilled to join the Portland Youth Philharmonic’s (PYP) board. She played multiple instruments growing up, eventually focusing on the oboe in high school and college. Erin looks forward to promoting PYP’s mission and helping to expand its impact in the coming years. In her free time, she enjoys chasing her toddler and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her family.
Erin brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit development, research, and community engagement, with a strong commitment to strengthening mission-driven organizations in Portland and beyond. She is a Prospect Research Analyst at the Portland State University Foundation, where she has spent the past four years supporting fundraising strategies that advance educational access and equity.
Previously, Erin spent five years at the Oregon Humane Society, where she played a key role in donor relations, grant writing, and fundraising coordination to support animal welfare. Her nonprofit journey began with a year of service through AmeriCorps at Habitat for Humanity, where she helped families access safe, affordable housing.
