Ron Sinha

Ron grew up in Los Angeles in a multicultural, multilingual environment, surrounded by a blend of sounds that inspired his love for creating music. He’s played several instruments and genres of music over the years, starting with classical piano at age 7, then stints exploring jazz on the alto saxophone, and Indian classical music on the sitar. He’s passionate about finding ways to bridge gaps and create community in our world through music.
Ron’s professional career has spanned several industries and countries, including roles in investment banking at Citigroup, in analytics and strategic planning at Disney and Nike, and in the nonprofit space as a consultant. The common thread has been his love for translating data and insights into visions and plans that rally a group to action.
His board service includes several years as a board member of Jumpstart in Boston, MA, an early education nonprofit, helping the organization expand its reach to under-resourced communities in the Northeast US, and as a member of Los Angeles Social Venture Partners, where he worked with social entrepreneurs to build ambitious growth plans and pitches to secure funding from investors. He also served as a Kellogg Board Fellow while completing his MBA, working with Chicago-area nonprofits to find new avenues of growth.
Ron received a BS in Math & Applied Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
