Bruce Stark: The Vigor of Hope (World Premiere)

4.10.2021 - The world premiere of Bruce Stark’s ‘The Vigor of Hope,’ performed by the brass and percussion sections of Portland Youth Philharmonic.

This piece was commissioned by PYP as part of the Youth Orchestra Commissioning Initiative (YOCI). The initiative is a community built to connect youth orchestras and composers from across the country in order to create and share new music. Get to know Bruce on the YOCI website.
