PYP WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBER MICHAEL LEE

Michael Lee joined the PYP Board of Directors as the third alumni representative and the youngest current member, in September 2020. Other alumni on the Board include Gesell Brook (PYP 1965) and Larry Baldridge (PYP 1967).

6.23.2004 - PYP and then Music Director Mei-Ann Chen performing Tchaikovsky’s Sérénade Mélancolique, with guest soloist Portland Junior Symphony alumna Marylou Speaker Churchill in New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall.
Marylou played in PJS from 1956-64 and was Concertmaster from 61-64. She served as Principal Second violin of the Boston Symphony for 23 years, and was a member of that orchestra for 30 years.... Read More ›
PYP Spotlight: Phoebus

Recent PYP alumni Phoebus Tsai participated in the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra‘s summer youth orchestra camp, under the leadership of former PYP Musical Director Mei-Ann Chen. Phoebus and NTSO performed in Kaohsiung, Taichung, and Taipei.
