Voices of Light - Panel Discussion

To set the stage for Camerata PYP’s Voices of Light performance, All Classical Portland and PYP live streamed a conversation with Richard Einhorn, the composer, David Hattner, the conductor, and Amy Borden, Associate Professor of Film Studies at Portland State University, and All Classical Portland’s Suzanne Nance on Wednesday, January 24.

Portland Youth Philharmonic’s chamber orchestra, Camerata PYP, will present Voices of Light in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Friday, January 26.
NOTE: This performance is intended for MATURE audiences due to scenes of torture and violence.

Portland Youth Philharmonic’s chamber orchestra, Camerata PYP, will present Voices of Light in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Friday, January 26. The 7:30 PM performance, conducted by PYP Musical Director David Hattner, will feature multiple local vocal artists collaborating on the title oratorio by Richard Einhorn, to accompany Carl Dreyer’s iconic 1928 silent film The Passion of Joan of Arc.
