6.23.2004 - PYP and then Music Director Mei-Ann Chen performing Tchaikovsky’s Sérénade Mélancolique, with guest soloist Portland Junior Symphony alumna Marylou Speaker Churchill in New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall.

Composer Tomáš Svoboda Attends Season 93 Fall Concert

Portland’s Czech-American composer Tomáš Svoboda attended PYP’s Season 93 Fall Concert on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Mr. Svoboda heard the world premiere of his Symphony No. 2, performed by 110 outstanding young musicians of the Portland Youth Philharmonic.
